Tiago Nunes was born in Serro, Minas Gerais, Brazil. He moved to Belo Horizonte at the age of fifteen, where he attended Uni Bh College. When he graduated in advertising, he began working for Libra Comunicação as an Junior Art Director.
"Advertising was what took me to photography, but it really solidified for me during a two month trip to Europe. After that, I couldn't get away from it," says Tiago.
Following his passion, he moved to Greenfield, MA, USA, to attend an intensive 10-month program at the Hallmark Institute of Photography, in Turners Falls, MA.
As soon as he graduated he moved to New York, where he now lives.
